The Lowly Coffee Beans

The Best Coffee Maker is no Better than the Worst Bean

Are you one among those people always willing to spend a few extra bucks to get the latest hottest product? The latest available coffee maker may not be the best coffee maker in town, but are you willing to pay a higher price to always keep ahead of the “Jones?’ You never have to feel disheartened as there always will be a coffee maker claiming to be “the best one.” However, with that in mind, remember that the best coffee maker is only as good as its weakest link, the lowly bean.

The best coffee maker makes the best coffee, agreed. It is the strongest link in the chain of coffee making connoisseur. The weakest link being the coffee bean. Do you feel cheated after buying that highly priced coffee maker? No need to panic, you can always strengthen the weak links. Buying better beans is the answer!

What would it be like if you can’t get the best ground coffee? Computer controlled water heater that keeps the temperature of the water at 90 degree Fahrenheit is not going to compensate for the beans that have no business passing themselves off as coffee. The best coffee maker for which you have just spent $1324.00 will not do you any good.

Consistency is the core of technology. It will repeatedly produce coffee of the same high quality if all the ingredients are in optimum conditions. Your best coffee maker without a doubt, will produce the best coffee, every time you attempt to make a cup of steaming coffee.

Are you of the opinion that water has the greatest impact in a cup of coffee? Purists out there will argue endlessly about the quality of water and its relation to the quality of coffee. To be sure, water quality is vitally important to the finished product. It is not, however, the most important component (that falls to the humble bean). Nature has packed fine aromas and tastes within the lowly beans to bring joy to people that sip down the coffee, not necessarily from the best coffee maker. Locked within this roasted seed are flavor complexities that, at their peak, give the finest wines a run for their money.

On the other hand, dried out beans can bring bitterness to a cup of coffee and can ruin your day. The best coffee maker can do little to pull the coffee bean out of its hapless situation; the weakest link showing its true side.

Don’t stop shopping for the best coffee maker. However, spare some thought for the lowly coffee bean. Buy the world’s best coffee maker, but remember you also need to buy the best beans.
